Why didn't I think of this sooner? I am glad that everyone isn't doing this.

I made it back from my hunting trip mostly alive, all except this horrible staph infection that I have. I decided against posting any pictures of it as it would be an appetite killer. The good news is, the doctor says that I am going to live. The bad news is that if I would have waited a few more days, I could have a much bigger problem like the potential of the infection getting into my blood stream and proving to be lethal.

Anyway, that is not what I was posting about. I am posting about lead generation sites and whether or not they are effective. I am going to need everyones input on this one and because Active Rain is so generous you will get 25 points for commenting on this post. Just a few words, the kicker is that you could do this 10 times a day at 25 points a pop and that adds up at the end of the year.

So hear is the question. Does lead generation work for you? Have you ever tried any of these sites. What has been your experience. You could just some it up as good or bad or indifferent. I recently started using one for the listing side of things and low and behold I received 3 potential leads in 1 days. I received a return phone call from one of them. This was the first encouraging sign, but I am still in wait and see mode at this point. I have had a lot more activity on the listing side of things these days and you know the old saying "He who lists, lasts". A sinple comment will do and then watch your points add up, 25 big ones.

Till next time,

Shouldn't you list the lead generation sites you are talking about?

I did not have a good experience with HouseValues (or JustListed).  That was four years ago...  They are investors in A|R, too...  but I don't like them.

I am interested to read the responses. Sorry I don't have any experience with them.  The good news is that I am getting my commenting points!

25 points, huh?  Great!  Oh, yes, your question...no, I have never used any lead generation services, although I know 2 agents in my office who tried House Values.  One of them didn't get anything after a year, the other one got one listing during the year she tried them.  Good luck to you and keep us posted on how it works for you.

I've been hearing a lot of talk about them, but I'm not sure if I can trust the sources- maybe they get points with the lead generating companies too?

I am curious if this works for anyone.

Until then, 25 big ones!
