More pretty charts - Week 7 network growth

By
Real Estate Technology with ActiveRain

I thought I'd do an update to the post I put up last week showing some charts of ActiveRain's growth.  Yesterday we easily blew past 1,000 members on the ActiveRain Real Estate Network.  Here's some updated charts showing the growth rate of this network through its first 7 weeks of existance.

Donna -

Your profile is indexed in Google, and comes up #1 for "Donna Harris Re/Max" (ahead of your main site).

Granted that's not a search term a lot of people would use, but it's a start (and it's the same search term other people report good ranking for - Jay Thompson Century 21 for me)

First, what the heck is "Invasive rodents and endemic Galapagos rice rat conservation" ??  That's not me.

I did search for Donna Harris Remax, but without the / mark.  It came up with the other Donna HArris with Remax that is out there...

I did just have a name change which is why I need recognition with Harris instead of Richey.

Donna - I just searched for your name without the ReMax, the Invasion entry came up around #8 on page 1, some Grad student with the same name.

Wow Donna, I didn't know you were the Dallas invasive rat expert. As to your dilemna, I have the same questions. Our buddy in Calgary sent me an email today that may help us both. I'll forward it to you. Matt, great growth #'s. Watch out world here come the active rainers.

Matt! Speaking of Stan and Donna's (and my) buddy in Calgary, when are you going to add our northern brethren to the Active Rain fold?

If I have any hope of catching Paul in the points race, I *need* Canada!

Very impressive numbers, especially for such a new site.  Makes me wonder if you will ever institute some criteria for joining in the future.  Guessing from the giant leaps, the referral program is working out very, very well.

I guess there's some benefits of having an uncommon name.  Looks like there's only one of me in the Googlesphere.  But, that could be a bad thing too...can't deny anything.

Also, just wanted to report that I, too, have obtained a client as a result of my ActiveRain profile.

Hello Active-Rainians,

Can someone who has a minute or two of free time email me at my work email and give me a few pointers or tips on how to make my URL or corporate personal website show up on different searches locally here in Connecticut and New England?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love this website and I can't wait to promote this website and share it with my clients, business partners and have my family and friends check me out.

My work email is:  Nima_Rezvan@countrywide.com

I wish everyone the best in this confusing time where it is not a buyers market or sellers market here in Fairfield County, Connecticut.  Enjoy your weekend.

Always,

Nima

Wow, pretty impressive! I would also be interested to know if most of the new members are referral or they just stumble on the site.

What has happened since July of 2006.  It's time for an update!

Have you done any other "research?" For what purpose are most members using the site? Is it primarily for locating properties, reporting sold properties or just talking and networking with other people interested in Real Estate?
