The Insufficient Funds Blues!

By
Real Estate Agent with Helping people in transition 210155

Unless we've been hiding under a rock, we all know what's going on out in the financial world. We might not fully understand it, but we know the banking and financial industry is in a turmoil.

Hiding under a rock

So, as a public service to my readers, and the rest of the country too, I've included the following letter for your use. Just send it to your bank should you get a check returned with "Insufficient Funds" stamped on it! It might not help, but you'll definitely get a return call!

To My Bank

 Dear Sir/ Madam,
In view of what seems to be happening internationally with banks at the  moment, I was wondering if you could advise me. If one of my checks is returned marked "insufficient funds," how do I know whether that refers to me or to you?

Hi Craig,  We just had a deal fall apart because the " Approved " buyer no longer met the " New underwriting standards " !    By the way, a customer asked me recently which bank I thought was the strongest.  My answer: " Sealy Posture-pedic ! " .  Good selling to you.

This is probably a truer statement than we all want to admit...scary world out there right now. I'm keeping my money in my underwear drawer right next to the fine washables!

Craig I finallly made it back to your blog.  You are on my subscribed list, but, it takes so long to load with my broadband connection that I often loose patience.  Perhaps it is all those little Teddys in the background?  Anyway, I just wanted you to know why I don't write more often.

Dear Bank: Recently you returned one of my checks marked "insufficient funds." I thought you had already been to the federal government. If not, please get there as soon as possible. They are giving away billions and billions and billions of dollars.
