Plugging around realtor dot com today and it is truly amazing that I see two, three, four million dollar plus properties listed with crooked snapshots - this truly defines AMATEUR. Would a seller really want their valued home represented with snapshots like you take at a kids party?
Three basic signs of an amateur photographer:
1. Walls and ceilings are crooked. Vertical and horizontal perspective are way off.
2. White Balance is incorrect (orange or blue interiors)
3. Dark areas or "flashy" looking, i.e bad or no lighting.
4. Lens distortion, or "bending" walls, warped edges etc.
Okay thats four. And there are more as well.
