Happenings in and around Jackson County GA
With this post I will be sharing some of the events going on this month in Jackson County GA. This will probably be one of my all time favorite posts. Anyone who knows me very well would tell you that December is my favorite month, even though I'm not fond of cold weather. I start decorating my home the day after Thanksgiving and enjoy all my "stuff" until New Years Day.

The City of Jefferson Christmas parade will be held on Saturday December 6th at 3pm. Dress warmly, grab a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and enjoy the festive music and floats. And of course a glimpse of Santa.
Santa will also be making appearances in Nicholson and Pendergrass. There will be a tree lighting in Nicholson Saturday evening Dec. 6th. The Pendergrass Library will host a photo opportunity with Santa on Friday Dec. 5th. There will be a Christmas in the Park event in Maysvilleon Saturday Dec.6th. This is an annual event that inculdes booths, refreshments and Santa. There will also be a tour of Homes.
The City of Commerce will be hosting events Saturday and Sunday Dec. 6th and 7th. There will be a Secret Santa workshop hosted by the DDA & Pilot Club and an Antique Car Show. The parade will be on Sunday Dec. 7th at 3pm.
The Hoschton Women's Club will also be hosting it's Annual Santa at the Depot on Saturday Dec. 6th.
