Mobile access

Services for Real Estate Pros

I wish the developers of Active Rain had a little more insight into the future of our indusrty and made this site less clumsy and accessible from the mobile devices we all carry. Alomost every worthwhile social and business website knows it needs to carry a version of the page for mobile users. In this day an age it is ludicrous to believe it makes any sense to be completely enslaved to your desktop or laptop. The phone I purchased I can completely access my Outlook, Check my Facebook, weather, scores, and anything else I could possibly desire. The same phone is completely alienated by the developers of Active Rain, why is that. We are an industry of people on the move... if Myspace can figure it out why can't they?

Blackberry can support Activerain to an extent.  But you must have the most current version of Blackberry installed.  It won't work on older versions.  And as an owner of a blackberry, there are many sites that do not support the blackberry browser.  For example, try visiting tmobile.com on your blackberry and see how it goes.  They have 40 Million cell phone users and you can't access their site on the phone.

Now, on an iPhone it is a whole different story.  Not a single issue using Activerain there. In the future we hope to be able to roll out a version for blackberry phones, but it is entirely different from other phones/web browsers.
