Broker Magazine ceases publication

By
Mortgage and Lending with Cherry Creek Mortgage

This week I attempted to renew my subscription to Broker Magazine and this is the response I received.

This is major lose for our industry. It seems that alot of our trade Magazine are getting smaller. There are less ads and few letters to the editor. We can only hope that the remaining magazines will be able to stay on until the market improves. God luck Brad Finkelstein... brad.finkelstein@sourcemedia.com

It's tough to see a trusted resource fail.  I am sure you will get some comments for new mags you can try out.  Good luck!

Never saw that magazine. Seems like the print media continues to go down. We have the NAR magazine, and the NCAR magazine, and both of those have been getting thinner and less relavent.  As the world turns to the Internet for it's news, so does the Real Estate industry.

Hopefully the folks at Broker magazine will evolve into something bigger and better.

Its a shame.  I hope things pick up.  The govt. needs to get it together.

Hmmm, interesting. Print seems to be dwindling down for sure. Many papers/magazines may be struggling with getting enough ads. We have notices some big names dropping their advertising in the local papers here. ~Rita

Print media is definitely under attack.    In downtimes, the glossies are perhaps the first to go.

I picked up a copy of our local Homes and Land magazine the other day and was shocked at how thin it was -- maybe 25 pages.  I think they may cease publication soon themselves.
