Progress On Project River Oaks

Real Estate Agent with Vizion KC

The Craig St remodel is moving along as scheduled.  Today after a few showings in the southern part of the city I drove out to Grandview to take some progress photos.   14500 Craig should be completed at the end of the month and be ready to list in early January.

The new garage doors have already been installed along with the new roof.

For those of you who have seen the before pictures you might remember there being a huge hole right here in the ceiling.  It’s all fixed now.

A new deck is being built out back which is great since right behind this house is one of the best golf courses in the city.

Just as a reminder this is where we started.

Justin - is siding something prevelant in your area?  I've seen a lot of it in Michigan, but very little in the southwest, now I'm seeing it on some of your homes.  Tell me about some of the advantages siding has please.  Is it more just a "midwest look?"

Kent -- Well I suppose every house has some kind of siding.  Here in the midwest we get all four seasons so its important for us to have a siding that can handle the extremes of winter, summer and everything in between.  For example yesterday it was 60 degrees outside today I've got two inches of snow on the ground.  The main advantage of siding in my opinion is insulation for your home and protection from the elements.  I never really thought about if it was a midwest thing but it seems possible.
