My wife and I were driving around the neighborhood the other night in our old truck named chuck and were very pleased to see how many lights are up. It seems like even in the tough times people still have a great Christmas spirit which is awesome to see. We are sure there are more lights up this year than last. I hope your local neighborhoods, just as LakeLand Village, Allyn Wa are seeing the same results.

We were out last night too looking at the lights. I will let you in on a little secret. There are a few people in LakeLand Village that are in a war of lights. By the end of the season you maybe looking forward to not having LakeLand Village in Allyn, Washington seen from space, as I hear that is the goal-Dinah Lee
They are pretty amazing - so who's coming over to put all mine up because my husband is avoiding at all costs! I've tried but I'm just a little too short..... and I don't do ladders so thats out! It is awesome to see that people are getting into the season with the colors, the spirit and more the meaning in these hard times. They do make us smile....
Dan and I are going to have cup hooks installed this year so next year we can put them up with just a pole. We may still need a ladder in back, but we wont have to go up as high. Dan thinks a big deck would solve our issue. I am weighing the costs and I think a deck is a ittle pricey to hang a string of light that are $5.99 at the hardware store.-Dinah Lee
The lights were great and very festive. I think that the griffeys and the house over on LakeLand way were some of the best display's in the neighborhood.
