New loan program in Kansas City for home improvement projects

Kansas City area homeowners have new loan program available for renovating their homes.

New home loan programs for upgrading or renovating homes are avalable for many of the homeowners in older areas of the Kansas City metro area.  Many of the homebuyers today love the charm and character of the homes of Roeland Park, Fairway, Merriam, Overland Park and Mission area.  But many homebuyers are turned off by the post WW II era style and potential condition.  Mid America Regional Council has put together a low interest rate loan program with many of the cities for homeowners to do the upgrades on a 10 year loan up to a maximuim of $30,000.  This program is to help homeowners renovate their kitchens, baths or master bedrooms/suites. You'll need to check on how you might be able to qualifications for the program.  But what a great way to great the dream kitchens or bathrooms you've been dreaming for!  For more information check the link to Mid America Regional Council website.

This is a wonderful program that would apply to the REO properties. Is is exclusive to Kansas?
