Hi,
I am a relatively new member to Active Rain and I was wondering why some of my post weren't getting comments.
I was trying to start a discussion about some tough current issues like Fannie Mae Freddie Mac, The Bailout for the Auto Companies, and things like that.
Are there rules against posting questions for dicussion?
Why don't the tough issues get commented on?
Sarah: Welcome to Active Rain! It sure is a great place and you can surely learn alot. Looking at your Fannie Mae and the Bailout post, you did not include those in any groups. That might have some issues because they are probably getting lost somewhere. Look at your stats area, are they getting any views? I do not think there are any R&R on these topics, however I have read that some are opposed to politics post and when the presidential stuff was going on people were getting burnt out on all the post.
I have found that my localism post have generated comments. Best of luck. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help.
Sarah: I am thinking that part of the problem you are not getting comments... is that you do not appear to be posting this to any of the groups on Active Rain. Take a look at some of my posts... and click on one of them as if you were going to make a comment... and then notice that I have picked several groups... up to a maximum of five groups... to submit my post to.
If you would like for me to walk you through it... I would be glad to. Take care... hope dinner was tasty !
Also... I looked at your groups... and you only have Exit Realty groups listed. There are so many more groups that you could join... that would really bring you many more comments. You can join as many as you want... no limit. But... when you post... you can only send your post to a max of five of those groups. Take care...
