I have been trying very hard to update my website recently, as many of you probably already have! I truly believe that we are becoming a paperless community. Any and everyone turns to the web for EVERYTHING now... Christmas shopping, looking up a number on whitepages.com (I don't know the last year I had an actual phone book in my house), finding the quickest way on mapquest then having it sent to your blackberry (maps?? whats that??), using new networking sites such as facebook to keep in touch with friends and relatives (rather than an old fashion hand written letter or card), even looking up quick recipes to help us in the kitchen! You can find ANYTHING on the web. Who wouldn't take advantage of such a great thing??!!??
I really think us realtors (myself included) who are not updating our websites and making them informative and interesting are missing the boat! Rarely do people look in the newspaper anymore for a house. They automatically go straight to the internet.
I have added some new things to my website, some entertaining and some informative information to help the consumers who are looking to buy or sell. Please take a look and feel free to post a comment or suggestion! I think the best way to inprove our websites are to get out there and look at other real estate professional's sites (of course those who live in another area, not our competition lol) :) Thanks so much!
