Websites by Ron Popeil - Is that Yours?

By
Real Estate Agent with Jaclyn Smith Properties

Now that you have gone through the challenging birth process of your cherished online baby, it's time to begin to help your real estate website begin to grow. Remember, a website should be considered a "living document" and that means growing your baby into a toddler, then an adolescent and maybe even someday a full grown adult website.

Do You Take the "Set it and Forget it" Approach?

Then again, some many real estate agents have the Ron Popeil mentality when it comes to their websites. You know what I'm talking about - Set it (or in this case - launch it) and Forget It! If you adhere to this philosophy with your website, good luck attracting many visitors and benefiting from any potential ROI from your website.

Does Your Real Estate Website Have Good SEO Bones?

I wrote a couple of posts over at the Dakno Real Estate Marketing Blog that offers a few basic tips to help your website be organically sound so it can "support" your business. Consider it baby formula to give your website strong SEO "bones".

Here is a sneak preview of the topics covered in my post:

  1. Title tags
  2. Does your website leak?
  3. How to add keywords for search engines
  4. Fatal font mistakes!
  5. Do I write my copy in first or third person?

I may as well join the comment stream too. Like a good home in Sheridan, a solid website foundation is a must and I got that with a Dakno website. Thanks to Leslie and the Dakno team for making it possible.

I want good web bones!  I have a problem of no time, and I am technologically impaired.  One of these days...

Hi Janna - Take heart, it can happen. Just select the right real estate marketing firm who can develop calcium-enriched SEO bones for your website.
