Lets get creative - ActiveRain t-shirt design contest

By
Real Estate Technology with ActiveRain

Lets get those creative juices flowing...

We're going to hold an ongoing contest for an ActiveRain t-shirt/sweatshirt design.  I've had this on my mind for a little bit ever since the "Race for 3rd" t-shirts, but Steve Campbell gave me a little kick in the rear yesterday with his post.  We're asking members to submit their best, creative designs and we'll choose our favorites to be made available for purchase through Cafe Press.  Any proceeds going towards development of the network.

Design submitters will get recognition for their design and of course points :)

Here's the basic rules:

1. Please submit your designs to support@activerain.com by Wednesday, Sept 27th.

2. Don't use copyrighted material, such as images in your designs.

3. Submitted designs will become property of the ActiveRain community.

4. Be creative and most of all have fun...

We'll run similar contest in the future for designs of other items such as bumperstickers, hats and mugs but feel free to submit those now too, if you have a good design.

No, I didn't have a particular size or color in mind...  Yeah, depending on how many submissions we get, I'm sure we'll post them.  The cool thing about Cafe Press is all the items are printed by demand, meaning so there is no inventory to manage.  So if we get several good designs, we can put multiple ones up there.

When designing the shirt, do you want a tag line?

I was going to leave the design for the t-shirt(s) be pretty wide open and let people be creative.  It could be a new logo, could be funny, whatever...

Gerhard, good question.  I think they only got my entry and they didn't like my entry so they can't just make me win and use my logo entry.  No, I am sur they got a dozen or two.  I was speaking with Colleen K. last night and she told me that the winner was going to be announced real soon.  Also the halloween costume contest as well.

Sooo, what happened to the design? AR should have a complete line of logo items. Including Rain Maker yard signs.
