Holy cow, what a house!
I have just obtained a private/pocket listing of a phenomenal Buff, Smith and Hensman home. 3600 feet on a 24000 foot lot! No photos for now, sorry. This home was rebuilt after a fire in 1996. It was built to withstand both fire and earthquakes, as it is in southern California. It is very similar to the Buff and Hensman residence on Euston in San Marino, CA.
The house has soaring ceilings throughout. Two story entry and great room, wrapped in walls of glass that allow wonderful light at most times of the day. The landscaping is a mix of succulents and drought resistant cacti and herbs. There is a large pool in the multi-terraced yard.
