The real estate market certainly has it's share of dynamics. The actual buying/selling exercise is essentially mundane contract law, however people bring their emotions along for the ride. Small wonder--with each sale, many are either making an important investment or cashing out their previous investment.
If the house investment is so important, then why do people choose to go the for sale by owner route (FSBO)? At first blush, my thought is FSBO's want to save the dollars spent on Realtor commissions. While this is a valid reason, Realtors provide a necessary service, and are compensated for the work they do, just like any other professional. More tomorrow.
