Today I had to go to sprint to get my phone replaced due to a faulty unit and while I was there I was with the manager and I noticed allot of people were buying new phones but had perfectly good phones presently. I am not attempting to judge how much money people have at their disposal but it does make me wonder why people feel the need to upgrade at such a pace that their current units aren't even out of their product line but they feel the need to change phones and some I noticed were buying phones with less features than the one they currently owned but wanted a new phone. I think this type of spending is what we don't need right now because the economy is hurting and we could use some smarter spending with practicality in the forefront. I am sure this same irrational spending is occurring not just with the cell phone market but in other industries as well...

Being a Mortgage Broker and Financial Planner I just fear for the future but don't pay me any attention I am just a worrier sometimes I guess...

It is pretty crazy how some end up spending money for things they do not really need.
