For many, the holiday times really manage to keep us busy but throw us off our game. We end up doing everything but selling homes.
Recently I just wrote another agent an email about New Years Goals and I thought I would share it. What will you do now to make sure you're going to sell more, earn more in the next year.
Here is a copy of the letter:
Dear xxxxx,
The new year is fast approaching. Every year around this time I take some time to layout my new goals for success and then I re-evaluate them midyear on my birthday. This past year I started out very strong as I decided to make it a point to call every new lead as they came in, plus an email follow up. Later in the year we added the drip campaign to (alert system) and I quit calling every lead. In hind sight it was my marketing mistake for the year.
There is often a very fine line between bringing nothing to the table and just taking the spoon fed lead versus having some unique skills that are a compliment to what our broker does for us. As you know I work daily to add to the big picture.
Here is the tough part...making sure it's all done in the right order. Adding to the company exposure is what I do when I have done all of my other daily real estate work. This past year I had 10 sales, 1 listing sale, 12 rental listing contracts and 13 rentals.
My goals for the new year are still being formulated but will fall in something like this.
Increase my sales to :_____
Increase my rental listings to:______
Increase my rentals to:_______
Increase my sale listings to:_______
