This afternoon, as I fill out my "Thank You" card for a recent closing, I got to thinking about what I should say, rather than the routine message. I asked myself, "In addition to what I say, what do I want to accomplish with this note".
It was my least expensive home of the year, being an inexpensive Mobile in a Retirement Park.
Suddenly, I was overcome with feeling... I wanted her to know, she is as important as a million dollar deal! Question was, how? After giving it much thought, I decided it's not what I say, but how I make her feel.
It is important to remember, even our smallest escrow demands equal attention and respect.
I delivered her gift, along with my note of choice. She was very appreciative and excited. We spent a few minutes talking about her grandchildren and future plans.
I also added a small quote in the corner of her card that read, "Forever Grateful".
Which we should all be at all times!
