Golf Course Elk

Real Estate Agent with Photography7522

Greetings from Estes Park!

They say that elk are not the most intelligent of creatures...however, they do seem to be smart enough to hang out on the golf course when there are hunters around! Yesterday, on the way to school, the elk were crossing the highway on their way back to the golf course for the day, and there was an "elk-jam" on HWY 7 for a mile! (you can't use elk as an excuse for being tardy just anywhere...)

I took this photo just before it started snowing, we are expecting an arctic blast this weekend and the elk herd will be hiding in the trees.

Have a great weekend!  Lisa

Wow I love this photo, I do think elk and deer know something, locally we see the deer go to the State parks during riffle season, and stay for exactly 9 days which is the length of the season...
