We're Warmin' Up to Chill Out! This February, take an Icy Plunge into the Atlantic Ocean in the 2009 Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey!
Waves of fun will wash ashore on Saturday, February 28th when the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey will host more than 3,000 Plungers from around the country in the 16th annual Polar Bear Plunge.
Registration for all Plungers will begin at 9:00am, with the simultaneous Plunge into the Atlantic Ocean scheduled for 1:00pm. Recognition will be given to the individual who raises the most funds and for the largest group of Plungers.
Big Joe Henry, the NJ101.5 voice of the Plunge, will broadcast live from the Plunge site with updates, fun facts and music to wrap the day in a blanket of excitement.
