Comfort At Home

By

Like many people, I am not a fan of putting on the coat and tie unless I really have to. I definitely understand that there is a time and place for proper dress attire. As I work at lot from my home office I am permitted to wear or not wear what I want. Hold on a minute, let's let that image sink in a bit.

Seriously though, I am a person who likes comfort. I love to wear comfortable jeans, a t-shirt, and socks when I am working at home and know I don't have to be seeing anyone who would care what I was wearing. That said, I enjoy a good looking graphic t-shirt as much as the next person. I think that there are so many out there that are expressing different ideas; in some cases no ideas at all, just cool images. I have found a pretty cool website that allows me to Buy $10 T-Shirts; at the mall they usually run between $18 and $24 dollars. The ones that I have ordered and received are comparable quality but the designs are a bit more original and not mass marketed to 900 stores in all 50 states! Obviously I am not the only one who will have their t-shirts, but at least not every third person walking through the mall will either. I have also found that they run a weekly special called the 7-7-7 Deal where they will select 7 t-shirts and sell them for 7 days for $7. I hope you enjoy the site if you decide to visit it. Who knows maybe you will find something for that too cool nephew who likes to subtly remind you of your gray hair and age!

Dinah - That's what I'm talking about.

Jennifer - I was never ready for the gray either but no matter how many times I told them to turn brown they just wouldn't do it. Do you have a visual of some maybe crazy guy telling his hair to turn brown in the mirror...LOL!

Dear Rich,

I am with you. When working from home its jeans or shorts and t-shirt. Of course when I go to the office I dress better and look more polished. BTW- I think the silver hair looks very distinguished. Keep it!

Betina - LOL! Thanks for the compliment, it would be too much trouble for any type of dye. I don't mind it really.

Rich, I actually miss the days of having to dress the part of being the successful business man. But sometimes, I just love to wear the hanes.

Danny - I do not miss dressing up at all! The hanes comment made those crazy Guitar Hero/Risky Business commercials pop into my head! LOL!
