The tax man commeth!

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Lubbock Homes

I love Thanksgiving,Christmas and the whole 6 weeks of holidays, but in the back of my mind I can't help worry about all the taxes that will be coming due the first of the year.  So to put my mind at ease, I write all the checks,( deduct the money form the account), for all my property taxes in Nov. and place them carefully in the file, marked "DON"T OPEN UNTIL DEC 29"  Problem solved.  As long as I dont' get overdrawn buying all those grandkids presents!

Taxes yuck.  I wish you wouldn't bring it up.  I am still awaiting my bill.

I use Quicken and it is great.  I can keep a constant check on my bank accounts and taxes are a breeze.  You might want to try it.

Oh my -- not only taxes, but all of those dues just to practice real estate. And then, add the designations.  Looks like beans for x-mas dinner.

I don't have to worry about that this year!!  My sales have been way down, so what I prepaid is more than I'll owe!!

My husband does our taxes so out of sight, out of mind. Seriously though, I hate paying self-employment taxes. Self employed people should pay less taxes because we have the guts to get out there and make a living on our own!

So many things to renew come the beginning of the year. All the dues and everything else, including taxes.  Yuck-o!
