It NEVER rains in California...and other lies...

Heavy Dew.  That's what my Dad called it.  One thing is for certain:  Californians are spoiled and do not know how to drive in the stuff.  We figure that bunching up and following closely while at freeway speed should be the same on a rainy day as it is on any other sunny Southern California day.  But months of oily build-up, coupled with all kinds of road debris makes for a slippery mess.  One little slip, and the 405, the 55, the 5 and the 91 all come to a grinding halt...it's bumper car deluxe!

I was wondering what other white lies (the check is in the mail) you've been told your whole life?

I lived in SF for 28 years -- and people thought all of California was WARM!  Boy were they cold when they spent a summer day in SF.  Lots of sweatshirts get sold during the summer.

That Michigan has nothing important going for it than the auto industry.  Hmmm...  What about Motown?

I agree, this Texas boy almost froze to death in San Francisco a few years back. Happy New Year.
