2008 Women's Council of Realtors Business Woman of the Year: Central Oregon Chapter
Terri Visser
I confess, it's me! Yes, I'm tooting my own horn, but after a week of mulling it over, I decided it was ok. Hope you agree. LOL
After all, what is better than being recognized by your collegues for doing what you love to do? I am both proud and honored and wanted to share that with you. This is the first year for this award within our Central Oregon Chapter, and one of the perks is to help pick next year's winner. I'm looking forward to that!
In selecting a winner, several criteria was considered including:
- Business Accomplishments
- Degrees & Professional Education
- Mentoring other Women in Real Estate
- Business & Community Involvement
- Career Achievements
Not only do I love my real estate career and the friends I make along the way, serving my community and those abroad is a true passion. Although not done for recognition, I must confess it was nice to recieve!
The award was given at our local Realtor Association (COAR) Christmas Party. Because of running short on time (and wanting to get to the wonderful dinner that awaited us!) I did not have the opportunity to properly say thank you. So now is my chance.
Thank you Central OR Women's Council of Realtors! I am humbly appreciative to be recognized by such a wonderful group of ladies (and gentlemen!).
My business partner, Cat Zwicker-Grant, out-going Women's Council of Realtors Central OR Chapter President, was selected to present the award to me. It was a fun evening for us both.
Once again, thank you for allowing me to toot my own horn, just this once!
