When Your Clients Thank You

Real Estate Agent with Palmer House Properties 292385

I think I had an experience today that made me feel more valued for my services than ever before. I went to my client's house this evening to meet the buyer's agent there. He wanted to do a final walk thru before the final walk thru with his buyer. I get there and all of my client's children are there and their grandchildren as well. My client says, "I hope you got room in your car 'cause you're gonna need it." I look over and there is the biggest thank you I've ever received. He and his wife had 6 dozen roses waiting for me when I walked through the door. His children were asking me for business cards to pass on to their friends and his wife kept talking about how the buyer's agent shouldn't get any part of my commission because of all the work I had done. This was truly a Hallmark moment. I really appreciated those roses because it showed me that my clients appreciated my service.

Lesson learned: There's no bigger winner than client education and delivering world class service to your clients. Exceed your client's needs and they'll pour in the referrals before you have the chance to ask for them.

I might cry. Lovely experience.

Congrats on a wonderful experienceI  I never knew the value of my role as a Realtor until one of my clients cried and hugged me at settlement.  She had finally bought her first home at 45 years of age.  Best wishes!
