My Goal is to Learn "How to Attract Clients I Will Like, and Who Will Like Me"

Real Estate Agent with One Sotheby's International Realty- Miami Beach Real Estate

My experience has been, from what I can see, very different from many of the other Apprentices.  This contest, to me, is to learn how to blog for business. I have the good luck of being coached by a person who is actually in the business of selling real estate.

Ardell has taken the time, not only to help my find my 'blogging voice', but she also finds it mission critical to teach me to realize WHO I am writing TO. I'm not so sure I get it yet, but I have a sneaking suspicion that she is going to stay on top of me.

I guess, since this competition is less of 'how' much I am writing and more about how many clients and closed transactions I generate, I am less worried (lately) about how much I write.  I am very focused on learning the big picture concepts, than learning how to insert pics or wrap text around a picture.

I want to learn the big concepts and develop good habits.  That is the mode I am in right now.

When my main blog debuts (shortly) my goal will be to gain readership and credibility, and have the luxury of working with clients who like my style, and want ME to help them.

I agree, your focus is very good.  I am on the same road as well with credible & readership.  It is not easy, just be your self and others will see the quality of you!

Excellent point... knowing your audience is key to developing your Voice.   I heard/read somewhere/sometime that you should speak/write to your ideal listener/reader to set your tone.  Have fun with your blogging Kevin!

Kevin, I think you raise an excellent point!  I cannot wait to see the blog you are developing!

My experience with clients who find me off the web (about 30-40% of my clientele) is that they feel like they know me and like and trust me because of the transparency that the web brings. But I'm not precisely sure how that carries over to blogging.

Ardell is on the ball. Can't wait to see all that you two come up with!

Now that "your voice" is coming through, you are getting more contacts from people who "already know you" and trust your opinion.  Good Job!!
