Real Estate Agent with Platinum Realty 1999090686

Just got a call from an agent telling me he is going to get together with his clients around 10:00 pm tonight to write an offer on my Alberta listing.  I'm in classes all day tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday, so I will have to present it in the evening.  Not too bad for being on the market for only a week....

I spent this past Thursday, Friday and Saturday showing condos and lofts in the Central West End and Downtown St Louis.  I hadn't done very much in the condo market last year, so this was a treat to see what is out there right now.  The lofts blew me away.  St Louis has some great developments under way, both in the Central West End and Downtown.  I was especially impressed with the Crown Loft Condominiums at Boyle and Laclede in the Central West End.  This building houses 36 units, mostly two and three bedroom units ranging from 835 to 1,658 square feet.  Almost every unit has its own uniqueness.  Majority of prices range from $200,000s up.  Visit for more information, or call me to schedule your appointment to view them....

A development in Downtown St Louis that impressed me was the Bankers Lofts, at 9th and Washington.  These units had truly open floor plans, and each unit had a storage locker on the same floor it in which it was located.  This building also had 2 rooftop decks heated garage spaces, and internet service is included in the condo fee.  Again, prices ranged from $200,000s up.  For more information, visit:

Another building that had an amazing location was the Marquette, at 300 North Broadway.  The east side views of the Arch and Mississippi River were fantastic.  Just think, you can watch the Fourth of July Fireworks display from your livingroom.  We were able to view two units in this building.  They were not so much loft style as apartment style, but still very beautiful.  The lobby was fantastic, with 24 hour doormen; the rooftop deck was unbelieveable.  Visit:

My client ultimately made an offer on a unit in the Lucas Lofts, at 1123 Washington Ave.  Now, I love my home and yard, but I could see myself living in this building.  It is fantastic, right in the heart of the loft district.  Some of the units have 18 foot ceilings and windows almost from waist high to the ceiling.  My client is from Chicago, and he said Washington Street reminds him of Chicago living.  That is why he wanted to live there.   The tax abatement also played a major part in his decision.  He was able to purchase a more expensive unit than what he would have been able to afford without the abatement.  Two bedrooms are listed for over $300,000 in this building; 1538 square feet is one of the larger units.  The building is over 65% sold already, testament to the revival of Washington Street and Downtown.  That is really exciting!  Visit
