I received this email yesterday from David Knox, real estate trainer &; master of delivery!  You probably have seen him in person at some point in your career.

I totally loved his message.  Talk about the right attitude and  knowing the real meaning of Christmas!    With permission from David's office, I am sharing the letter to remind us all what IS important at this time of year!

To: My Valued Customers and Clients

Subject: A Personal Holiday Message from David

It’s the time of year for me to express gratitude to my customers and clients. I appreciate your business, your support and your enthusiasm at my seminars.

This is a year in which we’ve all been faced with business and financial challenges, bad news in the media and a world that seems to have come to a stop. How do we stop feeling anxiety from these problems? Answer; be grateful for what we DO have, then focus on helping OTHERS with their problems.

In spite of my business challenges, I have an excellent team of employees, wonderful friends, good health, a loving wife and a darling Yorkshire terrier puppy. The media can’t take any of these things away from me.

When I read the news, I see people with REAL problems; a jet crashes into a home, a family loses someone to war, a friend dies at a young age, and a family has no money for Christmas. Maybe it’s time to set aside our worries and help those in more need than ourselves. This is our time to GIVE.

I’d like to be there for you again in 2009. What could I do that would help you the most? Please let me know.
Thank you and happy holidays.

Sincerely,

David S. Knox and Company

What a great attitude.  I like that fact that he is asking what would help his customers and clients most instead of telling them what he thinks they needs.  What a great way to get great feedback and really make a difference in his clients and customers' lives.

David has always been of the BEST in our business.  Thanks for sharing his message on Active Rain. People respect professionals who are hard working and helpful. We need to remember to keep positive influences around us at all times. Giving is the best way to keep morale high.  I just delivered food for a family in our area.  Last year, when I delivered food, I learned that a family with children in my son's school was camping outside...they didn't have a roof over their heads, or warm beds. I don't think that I have any thing to complain about....

I would love to be your Realtor® in Akron Ohio!

With all the negative news, it is easy to get bummed out for the holidays. I like his message about "real" problems, like death, illness and accidents. be grateful each day that you have each other and friends, great message!
