Giving Back to Your Community

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams SF Properties

This afternoon, I'll be joining other Keller Williams SF Properties agents to serve dinner at Glide Memorial United Methodist Church  (www.glide.org)  .  It is so important to remember your community in this holiday season.  It's sunny, bright and beautiful here in San Francisco, and the temperature is expected to dip below freezing in the Bay Area.  I hope you and yours keep warm!

WOW, Below freezing in the Bay area? I don't think I've ever heard of that. Up here in Portland we are having a cold streak that we topped 32 for the first time in a week last night and I have to say I'm pretty grateful.

Now as for the giving back, that is what it is all about. I truly believe in the get by giving philosophy and the more you give the more you will get.

Welcome to the rain and I think you will find this community as a whole belives that way.

Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome.  Serving at Glide was inspiring.  Our section was for the handicapped, so we were able to serve patrons their meals and pour water or coffee for them, look in their eyes and smile.  These folks are often looked through, or over.  They brought home the importance of making eye contact.  In the other dining area, people picked up their own trays and found a seat.  Our office team was so inspired, we plan to go again after the holidays!
