Wilsonville is a city in Clackamas County, Oregon, located between Portland, Oregon's largest city, and Salem, the state's capital. Once a small farming community, Wilsonville is nowadays a fast growing city, home to over 15,000 residents and growing.

Considered one of the gateway's to Oregon's wine country, Wilsonville is situated in the growing horticultural area of Oregon.

Major high technology companies such as Mentor Graphics, Nike, and Xerox, also have a home in Wilsonville. With the Willamette River flowing through town, and several public parks and gardens within the city limits, Wilsonville   is a great place to work and live.

Schools in Wilsonville include the Wilsonville High School, the Arts, Technology Charter High School, and the Clackamas Community College.

Located in Downtown Wilsonville, Town Center Park is an attraction offering activities for all ages. Offering a large interactive waterfall and wadding pool, a half court basketball court, a pavilion, play structures and dozens of picnic tables and benches, Town Center Park is a great place to enjoy a warm summer day. The park is situated near the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce, and the Oregon Korean War Veterans Memorial.

Several popular auto tours are available in the area. The Sherwood Loop Tour goes through the North Willamette Valley, where you can see Mount Hood and the Caprice Farm Nursery, featuring peonies, day lilies, hostas and Japanese irises. The next stop is Sherwood, home to many boutiques and antique stores.

Just outside of Sherwood, you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at roadside stands. A winery tasting room can also leave a flavorful end of a trip. Three other auto tours originating from Wilsonville are available.

Located south of Wilsonville, Champoeg State Park has 10 miles of hiking and biking trails. Paved bike trails lead through old growth hardwood forests, while the hiking-only trail curves along the banks of the Willamette River, as well as through shady forests.

Charbonneau Golf and Country Club is also a major attraction, featuring a 27-hole public golf course. The exclusive course is open all year, offering all amateurs and professionals a beautifully maintained layout that will give every golfer a challenge.

In the city, the median age is 35 years. The population was spread out with 24.6% under the age of 18, 9.4% from 18 to 24, 31.4% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females, there were 94.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.7 males.

The median income for a city household was $52,515, and the median income for a family was $62,172. The per capita income for the city was $29,786. About 3.0% of families and 5.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.7% of those under age 18 and 8.2% of that age 65 or over

Recreational opportunities of the Cascade Mountains and the ocean beaches are only an hour away from Wilsonville. In addition, the cultural, shopping and recreational activities of the Portland metropolitan area are just 17 miles north.
