Green Christmas

By

Instead of throwing out the used wrapping paper, Christmas cards, and such, read below for a few tips on how to recycle or reuse your Christmas items.

Icicles

-Collect all the icicles you have left over from the tree and use them for gift bag “stuffing” throughout the year. -Use them as ribbon when tying small bags or for rolled up notes (like a scroll).

Wrapping Paper

-You can cut paper into smaller pieces and use as a decoupage material to decorate shoe boxes, packing boxes, and not-so-pretty jars or tins. -You can even re-use birthday paper in the same way.

I would like to ask that every that views this, please spend a few moments and go to http://www.novapros.com for the full article.

I am trying to get the ratings up on my website, and need all the clicks I can get.  Please help.  Plus you will find a nice holiday poem to go with this Green Christmas theme, written by moi.  I would also encourage you to register so you can post your own home improvement articles there as well as here.

Happy Holiday,

Allison

I do try to recycle and save bags instead of throwing them away.  I am going to view the website for more ideas.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Pat.  I appreciate that.  Those ideas came from many family and friends.  I hope you can use more of the tips.

Thanks to all of you for viewing my website and providing comments.  I really enjoying sharing information like this, as I find it useful and practical.

One person even gave an address where you can send your old cards.  That was a great idea to help others.
