Thankful Thurdays!

By
Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

I am thankful that, even though my buyer didn't show up as scheduled today, she rescheduled for tomorrow...!  :)

She wasn't feeling well and couldn't make it.  I sure hope she feels better tomorrow...  Christmas time is a horrible time to be sick, don't you think...?

I'm also thankful that my family is staying healthy through Thanksgiving and, hopefully, through Christmas!  Oh, yes, and I can't forget New Year's Day...

One more thing...I'm thankful that we didn't get all of the ice that was predicted.    :)

Actually, Debi, if you analyze, Christmas is a great time to be sick if you're a child.  I remember my son having chicken pox during Christmas and it was nice because he missed no school and I missed no work staying home to take care of him.  I remember thinking how convenient it was!

This time of year, cancellations can be a good thing, just as long as they reschedule! I'll admit sometimes I am happy when a client cancels, especially if I don't feel like trudging out in the rain.

Hi Kate: I don't know you but congratulations. That must be a huge relief -- and really great to get that kind of news just before Christmas. Merry Christmas to you or whatever holiday you celebrate.

Just so they cancel before you get to the site.  I hate it when they cancel or postpone after I have been waiting for them for a half hour.

Angelia - God Bless You, too!  Thanks for stopping by...  :)

Barbara - I didn't think about it that way...It is good that you don't have to miss school or work, but I don't like feeling poorly while everybody else is celebrating...  :)

Kate - Congratulations!  I didn't even know that you had a biopsy.  Merry Christmas!  :)

Larry - I appreciate your encouragement...  Thanks for stopping by!   :)

Elizabeth - Yes, rescheduling seems to take the bite out of the cancellation...  :)

Jack - It's always nice when they are courteous and call, although they don't always...  :)

Debi.. There is never  a day that one shouldn't be thankful for the good things in life.  I'm glad your client has rescheduled.. I hope everything works out well... and that your family doesn't get sick either.
