Are You Blitz-In. Yet? ...and I don't mean the raindeer!

I was delighted this evening to check into BlitzTime and discover that the Scripts Blitz is back on the schedule of events for the 29th! I participated on December 8th and felt it was very worthwhile use of time. Thanks Joshua Jarvis (with KW in Atlanta area) for starting this!

I have been trying hard to get a scripts/role play partner for some time now with little success. I am participating in the Ready, Set, Dial coaching program through Keller Williams MAPS for 2.5 months with 4 Monday calls per month for 6 months. The course is awesome. Since this is a national program, time co-ordination with others has been a real bear. Most replies have been in pacific time and my early morning calls are way too early for them! I try to swim/do water aerobics & yoga 4-6 days a week... early at the Parrish Fitness Center with the heated pool so it really should be before my calls as the place fills up after 9 - no parking!

I found the ScriptsBlitz when I attended a program sponsored by Kelle Sparta the week before.on BlitzTime. It is an awesome way to network. Come as you are... so bad weather is no excuse!  Just realize that if it is early, I gotta have my Java! But don't plan on drinking during the blitz as you will not have time. I talked with half dozen people about what's working and effective in real estate. Heard great ideas and made new contacts. Thanks Kelle for setting this up!

I really enjoyed the first session of ScriptsBlitz even though we needed a few more participants. We did not have an agenda for the first one but the next one is FSBOs - Fastest Source of New Business in most markets. Not so many in my area at present but still another source of leads. In the past I have considered some as my secret role play partners, because I would usually do one I did not want to list first, just for paractice! My first scripts trainer was Jerry Bresser, and much later Mike Ferry.

Most of my business the past few years has been cherry picking, referrals or past clients. My husband was ill so I slowed down for the first time in decades. So my scripts have gotten kinda rusty. Now Kate with Ready, Set, Dial assures me that it is all still up there in my head, but sometimes I cannot find it in all the clutter. And I want to get good at new scripts. When you really know your scripts, you can be a more effective listener. Ideally I would like to have 3-4 partners so I would be working with someone different each day for 20-30 minutes between 7-8:30 AM EST.

Hi Pat,

That is interesting.  You definitely need to have a defined messate, now what to say.  I always found when selling that I would write an ititial script and then after hitting the phones, the script would become natural and I would really concentrate more on what the person was saying and try to talk less and listen more (always one of the most difficult skills as a salesperon).

You might want to try David Patteron, he is on the A/R Network and with Keller Williams.  He's in South Carolina.

Wow, Pat, sounds like an awesome program. And you sure have your fitness workouts on track. I'm impressed!
