I love movies and my husband and I don't always agree on which are the "must see in the theater" movies we try to go at least once a month.  You know date night.  We're very happy about our new local theater opening  TODAY!.  There's stadium seating and a balcony.  I can't wait to go and write a review.

want to know what's playing call 706-999-9999 to find out ticket prices and what is playing.

There's also a super website with trailers for what's coming soon. Spotlight Theaters

The location of the new theater is near the I-20 Greensboro exit, very near the Reynolds Plantation entrance.  I'm looking forward to a new wonderful theater.

Tammy - good for you that you have more, well at least one more, entertainment option now. So what movie are you going to see first?

I really want to see the new Nick Cage movie Knowing.  It looks good and spooky.  That's my kind of movie.

Went to see the day the world stood still this month, that was my husband's pick.  But I drug him to see Fireproof last month and although it was a sappy happy ending movie I think he liked it too.

Tammy, I love the movies too, but don't go very often.  Depending on the movie, I can't always hear what is going on and it's easier to wait and watch on DVD with captions.  Have fun on date night!!  xxoo

Hi Tammy, I think that there are certain movies that can only be seen at a movie theater.  Let us know how you and your husband like the new theater.

We have a wonderful movie theater in Land Park, Sacramento, called the Tower Theatre, which shows independent films. In fact, my husband and I are planning to see Slumdog Millionaire tomorrow. We can walk to the theater. I think it's great that you have a new movie theater, and I hope it's close enough to your home to walk.

Susan- Yeah it's sometimes better to be able to hit that rewind button too, I have one excellent ear and sometimes I miss something.

Sandy- I will, but more likely than not it will be sometime after the holidays... I don't think I can fit it into the schedule while my daughter is home for the holidays.

Elizabeth- Walk?? Oh how I wish--- I can't walk to anything where I live.  How I wish I could show you.  I must post a video sometime.. I've just got to figure that out.  It's 20 minutes (minimum) in a car to get to anything from anywhere around these parts.  I live in the boon-docks. It's about a half hour drive to any theater around here, including the new one.  It's just in a different direction from the old one.  It doesn't bother me that things are not close as it's been my way of life... all my life, it's just normal for me.  But I have to tell you I got a laugh out of picturing myself walking for two days to the theater.

Sounds like a really nice theater. I know you are glad to have this option. Diego and I are big fans of movie date night...but he love the super hero thingy...and well...I don't. :-) But hey...I LOVE HIM...so I endure. :-) ~GBU~

Well, I didn't know it was that far. I thought you lived closer to town. Guess I'm spoiled living in the city where I can walk downtown or to neighborhood restaurants and movie theaters!

I live in a county with more cows than people so it's never really crowded unless you go to the one new HOT movie that everyone wants to see on opening friday night.  The last time I went to a movie I think there were 4 or 5 other couples besides my husband and myself.

Yes it is and I'm also glad that it is creating a few more jobs for local teens.  Some of them still want to work and with so many out of work they sometimes get overlooked when people are hiring.

I'm sorry you had a problem with the phone number.  I just called it and it was the correct number and I got the recorded information.  If you are in this area you do not have to dial a 1, I'm sorry for any problem you had reaching the theater, but the on line link also tells what is currently playing.

I didn't see it yet.  My husband has to be at work at 5:30 in the morning, so maybe saturday evening when he doesn't have to get up and work.  I do want to see it.
