Big Sur Coast - What a Drive!
If you are in a hurry, then don't take the drive along the Big Sur Coast between Carmel in Monterey County and Cambria (San Luis Obispo County. But when you have the time and want a visual treat - this is the way to go! You will see steep cliffs, rugged canyons as you drive. Be prepared to pull over frequently to take a closer look and to take pictures! The drive is approximately 77 miles and about 1 1/2 hours - not counting stops! |

When the fog is just beginning to drift in, the scenery can be stunning.
