Sure We Have Chanukah...But What Do Your Jewish Friends Really Do On Christmas?!!!

Real Estate Agent with Helping people in transition 210155

Snoopy Christmas

In a few days Christmas will finally be here. Nearly half the world will be celebrating with family and friends as they do every year.

Children will wake up at an ungodly hour and run downstairs to see if Santa has come to deliver their Christmas wish list.

And everyone who celebrates Christmas will continue with their annual traditions.Harry Chanukah

But what about Jews?

What do we do on Christmas day?

All the stores are closed. There's no mail delivery. Television programming is all geared towards the celebration of Christmas.

Well, thanks to Brandon Walker the long lost answer to the question, "What do Jews do on Christmas?" has been answered!

Chinese food and a movie sound much better and definitely less stressful than spending time with relatives that you only see once a year (for a reason). We spent last Thanksgiving in holiday yet and then at Christmas told all of our friends and relatives that we went away but stayed in and turned off the phones...hee...hee. See how lucky you are???!!!

Mary - Happy everything! It's that time of year!

Donna - I think applesauce on anything is horridly disgusting! But the prime rib sounds good! as you say though, "to each his own"!!!

Lorrie - Mah Jong at the retirement community? You're too young to even be thinking like that!!!

Cecily - Hiding from your friends and family at holiday time? I'm thinking that sounds pretty good sometimes! Maybe I'll head out to Cabo instead!

Joan - Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping on by!

Alan - Oy to you and yours too!!!

Great video and catchy song...

Growing up my grandmother's tradition was to play cards on Christmas.

Enjoy all the holidays however you choose to celebrate.

Laura - Break tradition you rebel! Go to the movies! NYC was excellent! I went to the David Letterman show (Seinfeld was the guest!) Saw Neil Young at Madison Square Garden. Partied till the wee hours in Greenwich Village! Life is good!

Amy - Don't break tradition! Order Chinese again! Happy holidays to you, your hubby and Tanner too!

Josef - Fun stuff huh! Everyone has their own traditions and that's what makes it all fun and different. Enjoy the holidays my friend!

Julie - Thanks for stopping in and taking the time to comment! All the best to you and yours this holiday season.

Robin - So glad you enjoyed the video! Dim Sum brunch sounds great! So does the BBQ! Any extra room at that table? I'll be right over!!!

Can't get kosher chinese food in Ponte Vedra Beach, so I make it at home.  And I love driving past that packed parking lots of the malls during the month of December.  It's good to be Jewish this time of year.  Pass the soy sauce!
