Explain the credit restoration process so they know what to expect.
• Disputes will be prepared every sixty two days
• Customers can view their account status online 24/7. The processing report will reflect
the dispute mailing history and the progress report will reflect the status of the
accounts in dispute.
• Account updates will appear on the Web site within 48 hours of arrival at the
processing center.
• Allow a reasonable amount of time for mail delivery (5-7 business days).
Explain the three different types of dispute letters.
• Prepared with credit report updates
• Prepared without updates
• Prepared after a refusal letter was received from the credit bureaus
Review dispute verbiage
• "Not my account" and "I was never late paying this account."
• We are also happy to customize comments at the customer's request
Let the customers know that the credit reporting agencies may have the same accounts in different
statuses (i.e., collection vs. charge-off). We dispute each account based on the status reflected on the report.
Because an account that has been paid off, does not necessarily mean it is removed from the credit report. Likewise, becoming "current" or "paid as agreed" may not eliminate a previous late payment history.
Unfortunately, we cannot determine new scores based ..d credit reports.
The credit bureaus require address and Social Security verification for the client's protection and privacy.
