The Town of Addison entered into a partnership in October, 2008, with the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center. Addison residents can take hazardous materials directly to the chemical drop off center, 11234 Plano Road, Dallas TX 75243. (Between Miller Road and Forest Lane, one mile north of 635.)
To use this service, you'll need to bring a photo ID and a utility bill showing your Addison address.
Hours of Operation:
Closed Mondays, Fridays and Sundays
Tuesdays: 9:00 am - 7:30 pm
Wednesdays: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
THursdays: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
It's OK to bring:
- chemical products for home use
- paint and home repair products
- lawn and garden chemicals
- aerosol sprays
- pool chemicals
- craft and hobby supplies
- cleaners and polishes
- batteries of all kinds
- automotive fluids, gas, and oil filters
- flourescent light tubes
- computers and cellular phones
It's not OK to bring:
- business or commercial waste
- containers larger than 5 gallons
- expolsives or ammunition
- shock sensitive materials
- smoke detectors
- radioactive materials
- medical wast
- common trash or recyclables
- construction debris
- electronics other than computers and cell phones
