But last night I thought of one thing about being in a traditional office that I might, almost, miss! That is the goodies and presents that "just appear" in an office this time of year! My husband came home last night with an un-touched lunch box - "Honey, there were so many trays of goodies everywhere - I just had to sample!" Makes my mouth water....but then I think, gee I don't have to worry about weight gain, or extra time exercising, or sampling that one really gross thing and figuring out how to tactfully spit it out!
So yes, I am missing out on the goodies, but it really is only this way one week out of the year, and you know hubby was still really working yesterday; and he was dressed according to the company dress code; and he still had to drive on the freeway to get to and from work!
I talk to my clients and yes, I receive gifts, and we even went to a Christmas party this year (pretty cool for a VIRTUAL assistant to go to a REAL party) - YES - I love MY job!
