We volunteered at the North Texas Food Bank today! It was GREAT!

This was our first time to volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank and we sorted and boxed food this morning. It was a great time and a great cause. This organization does so much to support 260 agencies. It really makes you appreciate what you have and how just one person can give back and make a difference. There were about 30 volunteer this morning and we boxed 57,000 pounds of food. AMAZING!

We plan to volunteer on a regular basis to help the North Texas Food Bank reach their goals.

Liz, you are correct! I think its important not to forget about your selected cause during the year. Lydia, (see her comment above) told us that the summertime is the hardest time. I want to see if we can provide extra help and support during the summer.
