If Fort Collins is going to compete with the Loveland I-25 34 Developments and with the new Harmony Corridor Development they certainly can not have the middle of town, potentially highest traffic count retail location be a 30 year old vacant mall. Boulder was in the same situation just a few years ago and a redevelopment was the right decision.

Is this just an example of a smart development company putting off maintance intentionally in an effort to get the City to come to the table with some redevelopment co-op?
