Your Process to Jump-Start 2009

PRAXIS PLUS - Step 6
Praxis - a habitual or established practice. It's a formal action for improving yourself that you perform on a consistent basis. 

PictureIn Step 1, and Step 2, you worked on identifying and planning activities to accomplish within a time frame.  In Step 3, we discussed how your success will be determined by your ability to identify your target (your goals), focusing on the outcome you desire and taking action with a positive mental attitude. 

In Step 4 we introduced planning and determining priorities as methods for increasing your power sources that will make you more effective in achieving your goals (hitting the target).  In Step 5, we explored proficiency, which will allow you to perform tasks quickly and leverage your time.

 At this point in the process, you should see the benefits of focusing your time and energy on activities that are building your business. Traditionally, in most markets, the real estate market slows down during the holidays. And, due to the effects of our economy, we find ourselves in an extremely challenging market. 

Understand that you can't control the market but you can control the outcome you desire.  There will be a substantial number of homes bought and sold within the next three months and the rest of the year.  It's a matter of taking market share so stay focused and don't let outside forces take you off course.

Time Saving Techniques

  1. Reduce stress in your life by planning ahead and being on time for meetings.
  2. Reduce the length of meetings, when you have control, by being prepared with the necessary documents, agenda, etc.
  3. Use your drive time to safely return phone calls (blue tooth), listen to motivational tapes and sales training audio.

Your Responsibilities

PictureSet your schedule for the next month and remember to focus on the buying side of the transaction.  Interest rates are nearing historic lows so you must be proficient in leveraging your time to connect with as many potential buyers as possible.
