For anyone living or visiting in or around Mesa, Arizona, be sure and include a visit to the annual display of lights at the beautiful Mesa Temple! Since it is Christmas, and it had stopped raining, my husband and I decided to visit the temple lights at around 5:30! It was a balmy 60 degrees out, and there were lots of people, but it wasn't too crowded so we got a great parking spot.
For more information and to find out what performances are presented each evening, be sure to check it out at: Christmastemplelights.com. There is free parking and free admission.
I am sharing my favorite photos....It is difficult to narrow down 'cause I got lots of them. This was my first experiment with my SLR night photos. I tried them without a tripod, and some of them were a little blurry, but 90% of them were pretty good.
I love the reflection in the pool in front of the Temple.
This is awesome too.....
This was my third attempt of the manger/nativity scene. This was much clearer than the other two.
I am pretty proud of this one I took of Mary and Joseph....came out much clearer.
This last one was a light show in and of itself. Started from the top and spread downwards. I caught almost the entire thing. This camera is wonderful!
Visting the temple lights and visitor's center was a great winding up of a wonderful Christmas Day. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
