Nba Action is kind of Fantastic-ish....

Ok...

So there is obviously a cream of the crop in the NBA...to say the least...

Boston Celtics 27-3 (tied the best 30 game start in NBA history) (Still the champs!)

Cleveland Cavaliers 26-4 (15-0 @ home - the only undefeated home team left) (ummm, Lebron actually has a team around him now... better watchout!!!)

Los Angeles Lakers 24-5 (last years runner up to Boston) (Kobe isn't just A Grade Beef, its also a town in China)

Orlando Magic      23-6 (surprise start - Jameer Nelson has made a huge difference) Manchild Howard is a beast and with a little help, the magic are poised to go a long way)

The proven winners

San Antonio Spurs (always going to be in discussion)

Detroit Pistons (The Iverson trade - results remain to be seen)

Phoenix Suns (No more D'Antoni, older and slower)

Houston Rockets (Who gets injured first... McGrady or Yao?)

Utah Jazz (Boozer is gonna lie to your face, skip town as free agent and underperform when you need him the most)

Dallas Mavericks (Seemed to be reeling, but found a point gaurd and look to be regaining footing)

Young Upstarts or Surprises

Denver Nuggets (Thank goodness for Billups)

Atlanta Hawks (Scary good as team)

Portland Trailblazers (Not this year, but maybe next)

New Orleans Hornets (What is going on here?  They are too good to start this slow)

Our predictions are as follows:

WEST FINALS - LA LAKERS v. SA SPURS

EAST FINALS - BO CELTICS v. CL CAVALIERS

NBA CHAMPIONSHIP --- LA LAKERS  v.  CL CAVALIERS

NBA CHAMPION -----  CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

Jay,

Obviously I'm biased, but I think this is the year of LeBron!
