For those of you who are new to blogging on Active Rain, MeMe's are our little "Getting to Know You" ritual. They come in all shapes and sizes.
James Downing and Konnie Mac tagged me for this MeMe. And my targeted list of seven might follow. Here are all of the ground rules that need to be followed:
1. Create a blog post with a link to the person who so happily tagged you. See above!
2. List all of these rules in the post. Feel free to cut and paste this.
3. Share seven things that others may not know about you. Do I or have I HAD a life outside of real estate?
4. Identify seven friends, contacts or near enemies in which to adorn this MEME. Tag them at the end of the post and give a link to their blog.
5. Contact each of the tagged members and let them know that you were indeed fast enough to catch them and that you did indeed tag them...no matter how much they say you missed them! No schoolyard rules in this MEME, nope you gotta do it if you are tagged. Sorry guys!
1. I have never stuck my tongue onto a frozen metal post! In fact I was grown up before seeing a frozen post, having been raised in South Georgia.
2. As a child growing up in the South, our fast food job was working in tobacco fields. Wonder if all that fresh nicotine has an affect later.....
3. My first job after the tobacco fields, and one that required a social security card, was in a 5 & 10 store. I think it only lasted a day or two because I had to ride a bus to get to the job.
4. Because I was tall in high school, I was accepted on the girl's half/court basketball team and made a forward. That was good exercise. Since then I have not cared to watch spectator sports. In fact, I really don't like spectator sports.
5. I am surrounded by books and magazines all the time because I've always loved to read.
6. I hate watching TV because of all the commercials! If I want to see a show I try to tape it and watch it later. The networks seem to play with their schedules and I sometimes tape the wrong thing.
7. I have one pet who lives on the back porch, a cat who just devours birds. She is noted for having taken down a Raven (crow) which is a pretty big bird.
8. I have a lovely daughter. She's the one on the right.
I'm going to disobey the last part of the Meme which is tagging a few friends. I've gotta ship this friend on the left to Nutsy!
