Do You Have Room For Pie?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

PieOne thing I have noted in holiday gatherings whether at restaurants or within our home celebrations is the attitude of giving.

Do You Have Room For Pie?

Watch the generosity in others. Money is no object. It is the experience. Do not be frugal in giving AND receiving the blessings of others. It is funny when you ask often stuffed with food people if they want pie? Your blessings are OVERFLOWING from them. Take this generosity into your level of customer service and human touching in the new year.

Then, Blow them away and ask,

"A scoop of ice cream too?!!"  : )

Gary.... a vert interesting twist and so right on... love it. Nice job.  I know one thing, it's very hard to be extremely consistent in going the extra mile for your client...  I know I try and offer that extra scoop, but I know it's not there every single time. Great example,  I was on the phone with 2 clients today, most of the day, one frsutrated and one in tears... long storys.... but the bottom line is that it just takes a lot out of you and I know I am not perfect... lol  Can you believe that....  seriously though, this should be in the back of our minds every time....  again, great post and to the point.

I've had enough pie (and ice cream) this holiday season, that if I don't crawl back to the gym really soon, I'm going to need to waddle the rest of my way through life.  I foresee a lot of celery and carrot sticks in front of my eyes, during the month of January.

Generosity is important and so easy to do I believe.

I learned this recently @ Star Power when dealing with a buyer who is sitting on the fence about making an offer....If someone asks you if you want a piece of pie you might say no but if they put it on a plate and hand it to you with a napkin and a fork you are more likely going to take it right?  So, let's make them an offer they can't refuse.  You just reminded me of my scripts!  Thanks Gary!  KM

Give until it hurts-that is what sacrificial giving means.  Love your analogy as always grasshopper!

give it out in loaves and it will come back in slices, I know you are supposed to give to give, not to get, but I think that it will come back to you exponentially

I'll never say no to pie!  Giving to others freely and often is so important in life, otherwise, we may get too focused on ourselves.

A slice of apple pie on fine china, with vanilla ice cream, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and crowned with a cherry. It's a first class dessert, wonderful experience and and a great analogy for exquisite service.

Thanks for being so inspiring.

Gary-I think people will make room for pie and ice cream even if they are full. I am talking from experience here. LOL   I try to leave enough room, just in case there is pie and ice cream.  Your point was loud and clear.  Great post as usual.
