While there have been volumes written about pricing a seller's home and while none of the pricing tips presented in these blog posts are new or earth shattering, it is important to restate the obvious. Although real estate agents know this information intuitively, sellers don't often realize the facts and need to be informed so they don't make false assumptions and do make an informed and factual decisions.
Tip #10: Other real estate agents may view your price as too high
If an agent, working with a buyer whose general home search criteria is a good match for your listing, believes your listing is over-priced, the agent may tell the buyer and the buyer may decide to put your listing lower down on the list. If the buyer ends up finding another home they like and the agent believes it is much better priced, this buyer may never consider your listing.
Is this what you want?
If you can't get a buyer through the front door, you can't get a sale.
