I am hooked. FaceBook, in the past 30 days, has produced two new listings and a referral . If you are not active in the social networks, you are missing the boat.
I check my FaceBook page once a day, sometimes once every two or three days. That's all it takes. Just build your friends base with other Realtors, your friends, family, and generally your spear of influence.
It works.

You need to get the facebook app on your smart phone. Then you can stay on all the time.

Hi Jim - That's great to hear of your success on Facebook! After building up my friends list, I am going to concentrate more on the business side of it in 2009.
Jim, great advice, I am obviously not utilizing this resource correctly. Something else to work on!
Jim- I'm curious to know if you did anything special with Facebook or did the listings come from people who already knew you and were reminded that you were in RE?

I have a facebook profile but I guess I need to build it out and I'm not really sure how it translates to business.
I thinks its a "Sphere of Influence" not a "Spear of Influence" or am I missing something
