Expore Rental business in Slow market and buid up future!

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with SAVE MAX FIRST CHOICE REAL ESTATE INC.

Few days ago I read somewhere, Realtors have taken back seat or switched over to part time jobs.

I have a suggestion. Have these guys expored the rental market ! There is a good scope to build up your future clients who will buy from you!! Help 10 rental clients this year in the slow market. May be in the next 2 years time all can be your buyers!! Stay in touch and you have future clients.

Thats the best way to serve in slow market and show your presence in the market.

Augh!! I just don't want to do it!!  I had a rental biz for about 15 yrs and am resisting doing them again.  If anyone does add this to their biz though, they better update their skills/knowledge fast as it's easy to get into trouble!

Yes I agree with you. Marketing to renter is a no brainer. I just read that Feb andand June are the best months to start a mailing campaign to apartment dwellers. Most like to move in warm weather and when school lets out.( May) and or before it starts (Sept). mailing 3 months ahead of time gets you 3 direct contacts !!!!

Im all about rentals, I refer out the people to buy.  One thing you will notice is that to get yourself situated in the rental market you will have to customize a crm yourself as there is not really any.  I would not worry about the costs of mailing campaigns, but more or less concentrated on phone or email. I have seen the percentages of renters to buyers, even in the thriving Philly market, as a very low percentage so watch out for costs!
